Advantages of technology in education

By using technology within a childs education allows them to become actively involved in their own learning. It is known that children learn by actually doing, so by using technology as tools in education improves the amount of information a child will learn from their lessons.

Also, by using technology such as computers, children are able to obtain information a lot easier than having to trek through mounds of books and children like immediate results. With the information the children obtain, they are able to manipulate it and alter its appearance therefore have the option of how they would like to display their work.

Teachers also become facilitators during lessons rather than the main vocal point. They will walk around the classrooms asking questions and observing the children working either together or individually.
This in the long run will improve the childs design skills, their attention to audience, motivation to learn and all round increase their self-esteem. By introducing technical skills to children at the very beginning of their education will assist them for the rest of their education and also through to adult and working life.
